Comic Book Artists Submissions

Lone Wolf Comics is not currently looking for artists but if you are interested in writing, illustrating, coloring comic books for Lone Wolf please send your submissions to submissions@lonewolfcomics.com. See details on what to submit below.

Illustrators:

Send examples of werewolf, vampire, and/or demon characters, as well as one cover artwork and 5 pages of sequential artwork. For the sequential pages please use your favorite mainstream characters from the big two in your submissions.

However, Lone Wolf doesn’t expect you to write your own story. So if you need a hand, email submissions@lonewolfcomics.com, and you will receive a script to use for submitting. In other words, Lone Wolf wants to see your artwork and its ability to communicate a story, not your ability to write. Besides you're not submitting to be a writer are you?

Words and coloring are not necessary on the pages, but if you want to be a "one stop shop" Lone Wolf won’t stop you. Keep in mind that if either of those area’s aren’t your forte it could degrade your artwork and hurt your chances.

Save your files as low res JPG's so you don't overload the mail box. But make sure they still clear enough to see and not pixilated.

Inkers/Letterers/Colorists:

That’s right Lone Wolf is looking to roll all these skills into one Graphic Artist guru. Must be efficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign is a plus. Send cover artwork as well as 5 to 6 pages of sequential art as well, and include the original pencil/black and white artwork as well. Again, Lone Wolf doesn’t expect you to write your own story. So if you need a hand as well, email submissions@lonewolfcomics.com, and you will receive penciled/black and white artwork to use for submitting.

Lone Wolf wants to compare the pencils with your inking/coloring so to see what you brought to the page. As well as see how well your letter captions, speaking balloons, thought balloons, and sound effects in conjunction with the artwork.

Save your files as low res JPG's so you don't overload the mail box. But make sure they still clear enough to see and not pixilated.

Writers:

At this time Lone Wolf is not looking for a writer, but in the near future Lone Wolf will be looking to find the perfect creative fits for titles such as Crimson Dawn, Arcane, and Redemption.

However, if you are truly interested in any of these titles and can’t wait for the near future to come feel free to write a 24 page story that is self contained. Basically that means the story begins and ends within 24 pages of script. Same as with the Illustrators, please stick to your favorite mainstream characters from the big two.

Unless you think you’ve got a grasp on one of the fore mentioned titles and you are feeling froggy enough to write about them, go ahead you may get the project started earlier than expected.

Please send your submission as a Word document.

Creator-Owned Projects:

Currently Lone Wolf is not looking for creator-owned projects.

Other Submission Notes:

Submissions should be sent to the attention of Robert A. Multari, Editor in Chief.

If Hired…now for the big question that everyone will be asking…payment is based on a percentage of the sales from the title/s you’ve worked on. So the skinny of it is if there are low sales than that means low pay, but having said that if you are aspiring to be the next Todd McFarlane or Jim Lee this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Due to the amount of submissions please don’t be discouraged if you don’t receive a reply right away. Lone Wolf will take the time to respond to respond to all submissions. Thank you for your interest in submitting material to Lone Wolf Comics.
